This package from the wonderful Sophie Gammond really speaks to all of us at CCR. Since 2010, Sophie Gammond has traveled the U.S. and abroad to photograph at-risk dogs, telling their stories on social media to shed light on human and animal welfare issues, help homeless dogs find new families, and support the nonprofits that care for them. Sophie's powerful and deeply moving work includes shelter dogs languishing in cages (United States), free-ranging dogs in under-served communities (rural Ecuador, Navajo Nation, Moldova, Colombia), and dogs trapped in the dog meat trade (South Korea). 

Sophie’s art practice involves a variety of traditional media such as painting, sculpture, hand-stitched embroidery, cyanotype, or video installation, as well as new technologies including virtual reality, AI, and augmented reality.
